ASCD Emerging Leader

About the "ASCD Emerging Leaders" program

The ASCD Emerging Leaders program is a prestigious initiative aimed at recognizing and developing promising education leaders who are passionate about improving teaching and learning.

ASCD Emerging Leaders are selected through a competitive application process, and they represent diverse roles within the education field, including teachers, administrators, and policymakers. These individuals are typically early- to mid-career professionals who have demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to making a positive impact on education.

Once selected, ASCD Emerging Leaders engage in a two-year program that includes mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to ASCD's resources and professional development opportunities. They work on various projects and initiatives that address current educational challenges and contribute to the improvement of schools and systems. The program aims to empower emerging leaders, provide them with valuable experiences, and support their growth as advocates for effective education policies and practices.
